The film exposes the terrifying dimension to this problem as it takes 100,000 years for any waste to become “safe.” Masden interviews scientists on this imponderable crisis but the film becomes a mediation on time and how we understand (or don’t understand) time culturally, philosophically or literally. This is a must see film.
